We invited some local HVAC companies to look at our unit to see what it might cost to repair or replace. Southeast Air was the second company to come out and when we told them what the first company said was wrong with the unit, the technician quickly agreed and stated, "You don't want me to fix that, you'd be better to replace it in the long run." He then told us he'd get us a free estimate on replacing it.

After receiving estimates Southeast Air was a $1,000 - $1,200 more than the company we chose for the same unit. A few weeks after another company installed our unit, Southeast Air began to call us and leave threatening messages that we owed them $89.00 for a service charge since we had decided not to purchase a unit from them. We told them were not paying $89 when they did absolutely nothing.

The other companies we didn't buy from aren't calling us and sending letters every week. They won't leave us alone, so stay away from these guys unless you want to be overcharged or badgered to death for work not performed.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Leave us alone.
